Effective January 25, 2013, Pearson VUE will no longer be administering the new licensing examinations for Residential Electrician Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician licensing. For information regarding these examinations and for scheduling an examination beginning January 25, 2013, you may contact PSI at 800-733-9267 or visit PSI's website at www.psiexams.com, who will be administering these examinations on behalf of DORA.

Pearson VUE will continue to administer the Continuing Competency Assessment, which is required for Electricians to renew or reinstate their electrician's license.

Testing Services

The Candidate Handbook for Examination and Assessment is the most comprehensive resource for Original Licensees who require information on taking the examination for the first time. In addition, the Handbook provides valuable information to existing licensees who require information on how to complete the Continuing Competency Assessment. The Handbook also provides information on what to bring on the day of the examination or assessment; fees for both original examination and assessment as well as other valuable information.
