Effective January 29, 2010, the public adjuster fee will change to $125.00 to be paid along with the $56.50 examination fee during the INITIAL exam registration. Pearson VUE will collect on behalf of North Carolina Department of Insurance, $125.00 application fee ($50.00 registration; $75.00 license fee). This $125.00 application fee will be collected again, along with Pearson VUE’s exam fee, after the 5th exam attempt.
